I have a wedding ceremony almost fully edited on the timeline. When I opened it up this morning, there was a problem about halfway through.
After a certain point in my timeline, all of my edited clips act like the source clip is much shorter than it actually is...the edits stayed exactly the same, but the source material is stretched way out to fit.
Before the point on the timeline where the clips get weird, each clip says that the source clip is 59 minutes. (Which it is.) All of the clips after that point show it as 16 min. So, like I said, the edit points haven't changed, but the length of the source clip has - so none of the content matches what it's supposed to be.
Also, the 16 minutes play back super slowly to fit the original length - but still read as being played at 100% speed. But FCP does seem to know the speed has changed, because the time code in the right hand of the viewer is in italics for all of the glitchy clips.
Anybody have any ideas?
