Real estate show

A friend of mine emailed me this question…Anyone have any ideas?

"I’m producing a show in Las Vegas that has to do with real estate with more of a morning talk show feel. I’m trying to make an open for the show, I have various shots of landmarks on the strip and have all the talent green screened. Are there any tips or creative input anyone can give me to make it look more “national”?"

Thanks,
Vince

Re: Real estate show

Does he want a "national look" for a local Vegas show or will it be distribued widely? If it's a local show, maybe he could add some footage of housing developments being built in the area (I assume this isn't a commercial real-estate show). He could get some good B-roll of construction workers, surveyors, etc. The Vegas strip shots are pretty generic--even for a Vegas-based show--unless the show actually has something to do with the properties on the strip. If it's a national show--the same type of B-roll, only in varying locales.

Re: Real estate show

I'm doing video for builders and new housing developments / communities.  Barry_S hit it; B-roll with some cool shots of construction, interesting shots of the communities i.e. parks, swimming pools etc...and also some of the interior exterior features of the high end model homes.  Then you can edit however you see fit depending on the tone and pace of the show.
