Ready to do my First Reel...how do you guys do it?

Hey Guys i'm ready to do my first DP reel and I edit with premiere cs5.5 and shoot with a 7d. I'm a director/DP however I DP more than I direct. So i have alot of footage that isn't a final project (raw footage). Also some final projects I was not satisfied with how they grade it and would rather do my own grading for my reel. I do however have the final projects that I direct (which i usually edit and colour). So my question is how do I compile all this footage in one project. I know I can take the raw footage i have from the shoots i have DPed and put that in a project. However my concern lies in the fact that the final projects I am satisfied with are exported as h.264. I would hate to put those files into the timeline only to be compressed again on export. Do i re export those projects in another codec to be imported in the "reel project"? IF so what do you recommend?
