Ready to buy

Hi all,

After many days of research I am ready to buy the DVX100a. I lve in Cumming, GA. 35 min from Atlanta. I think since I will spending a bit for cam and the gear I should purchase from a store around my area. Any one know of a respectable vendor near me? If not then what Internet vendor. I heard someone say they bought theirs for $3200.00

Thanks!

Why so? Because the combination of my first and last initials form a fellatious acronym?

In Atlanta, try W.H. Platts. For internet, Please stay away from the Gray Market dealers. One way you can tell is that when you ask them whether the Magic Bullet is in the box, they will say that you are supposed to get that following the sale from Panasonic. If this is the answer you get, then move on. See the list of vendors under the Authorized dealer thread. The Gray Market guy's only strategy is to get your credit card number before you have an opportunity to back out.

Hope this helps,

Jan

B. C. Johnson

I'm not going to even comment.

Cade- be very very careful where you buy things. You might end up with a box of bricks. make sure you ask hella questions.

I'd say bowling balls, but two on the same lane? Oh, well I hate bowling, anyway. Put a soccer ball in there, already!

ahh..good morning! I can't believe I checked in this early. Honestly, I woke up thinking about my skycrane post (below). Isn't that terrible?

Yes, two pearls--not mine, but I did shoot them.

Sorry Cade, for hijacking your post!

Actually, I think there is a semi-decent photo-video store in Atlanta. Call first and see what they have in store. I could be mistaken.
