dvds

I've made thousands of dvds over the years and what you usually find is there is either a 1000 minimum or a stamper charge of $1-200. You might ask yourself if you really need the amaray cases for the whole amount. If not you can get dvd's on a spindle -raw-just the dvd disk for about .35 or so. You could make 500 or whatever in packaging for .50-60 and then the rest on spindles. I've been using Duplium in Texas, but there are a lot of other companies that basically do the same.

Lustgarten, thanks for the advice. I will check out Duplium... Anybody know of any places here in NY? I would love to save on the shipping fee.

well pacific disc was who i used and they lost 750 of my 1000 order. the were to be held for pick up but they changed locations and can,t locate them. now they don,t email me back. anyone else had a similar experience ?

Okay, Pacific disc is out... So, Lustgarten, you're saying it's a better deal to get the discs and the packaging made separately?

Try discmakers.com I have used them 5 times for 1,000 run replicated DVD's. I think they still have a recession fighter's special going on for $990 complete with printing on disc, color jacket, case and shrink wrap ready in 10 business days. Of course this price is only if you have your own artwork ready to thier standards. Bar code and shipping will be extra. Shipping from NJ to GA was about $25 per box of a hundred via UPS ground. IThe last time I used them they included an overage of 50 DVDs for no charge except for shipping.

This is how I do it.
I have a couple hundred wraps (covers) printed at gotprint.com for $100 and have them sent to Duplium. I order however many I need in Amaray to fulfill orders to video stores, Amazon etc. and send the Netflix and Blockbuster online orders on spindles, as they don't need cases. You should be able to do it for $5-600 and I don't think shipping is that much if you go ground. They aren't that heavy.
