RE: Washed out Black from FCP, please help...
Hi there I'm rendering out a quicktime photo jpeg clip to view on a computer monitor, looks fine on apple cinema display on MAC but blacks and colours look washed out on CRT on PC.
Is the problem something to do with the gamma settings...? between TV and computer monitors? 1.8 2.2 etc.
1) What are the correct output settings for HDV Sony z1 footage out of FCP to make a photo jpeg clip to be viewed on Standard CRT monitors?
2) How would the colour settings differ to output to DVD?
3) Does increasing the render quality in sequence settings > Render control > Master template and motion projects > Quality to high, make much of a difference over normal?
