Re-rendering a sequence in PPro

After you have rendered a sequence can you add clips to the sequence and render those clips only, or do you have to render the whole sequence again. Also, if you have to render the whole sequence again, does Pro re-render the first part or just use what it already rendered???

Use the Work Area Bar if you want to render parts of your Timeline.

If you add clips and the Work Area Bar covers the whole Timeline, Premiere Pro renders only the clip/s that needs to be rendered. Clip/s that has already been rendered does not re-render again.

Do you mean rendering on the timeline (vs to a file)? If you've rendered the timeline and make further changes, PPro will only render the changes. There's a color bar at the top of the timeline that turns red to indicate any portion that needs to be (re-)rendered. -Dan
