Re: Premiere Pro 64-bit // 128GB+ RAM?

For Adobe Premiere CC - "4GB minimum, 8GB recommended". I can't find it right now, but I'd read something from Adobe that had said basically 2GB or 3GB per processor core, anything more would be useless. If using After Effects, that is a different story - it will use all the RAM you can throw at it for RAM Preview and such. But no so with Premiere. Spend money on fast processor, proper GPU, fast drives.

EDIT: I found a great Adobe system guide that says " If you plan to use Adobe Premiere Pro, 4 or 6 GB of RAM is minimum, while 8 or 12 GB is suggested for most users." Available here - http://wwwimages.adobe.com/www.adob..._Your_System_20140312.pdf?scid=social20469124

EDIT #2: The Adobe recommendations are per app, so if you plan to have say Premiere and Photoshop open at the same time, then add their requirements together for best results (multi-tasking). That said, 128GB is overkill unless heavy-duty After Effects work is involved.
