I'm looking for a small fresnel LED fixture.

What do you think of the Sola ENG? I'm reading online about the fan noise, people say it is "loud" and some say it is not a "constant noise".

I use a Sola Eng when I shoot for a network with their camera. It is ok but I have to say I prefer my Zylight z90 and I hear good things about their Newz.

I have Sola ENG. I think early models had serious fan noise. I really don't notice the fan unless I'm very close to it. It's not something that I think I'd catch with lav on an interviewee a few feed away.

I have five of them(use two specifically as top lights on my ENG cameras) and yes I have heard fan noise up close and in very quiet environments, but I have never heard it on-camera.
