Re: LCD Monitor - Control Over HDMI?

Other than a TV, which LCD monitor (i.e. Manhattan LCD, SmallHD...etc) offers control over HDMI? I noticed my Sony RX100 allows for this function and would be great to remotely control the camera through an external monitor!

What do you mean by 'control over HDMI'

Are you asking if you can control your camera through your lcd field monitor?

I don't know of any lcd monitor that can do that and I just finished a fairly thorough review in my search for a new field monitor. I believe most, if not all, cameras are only outputting signal through their HDMI ports. I don't think we are that far away from having your smart phone or tablet controlling your camera.
