That'd be a cool idea. Especially if someone needed instant feeback or tips on a problem they were having, and didn't want to wait for a response to a post...

You don't have to run your own server to run a chat channel, in fact it doesn't have to cost you a single penny. Place it on an already established server where people might hang out anyway. I hang on EFNet =)

Channel #dvxuser at EFNet is open if anyone is interested to join. I really wonder how many people in here are familiar using IRC though. Oh well I guess it might be worth a try! =)

trillion is better IMO, it has every chat proggie built in and you can skin it to your liking.

if you put /join #dvxuser in the perform buffer when you add a connection it will log on to #dvxuser when you start the program.

Oh yeah, EFnet is kind of tricky to get in. You have to just keep trying different servers and open the status window to see if you are connected.

hey, hey this is the power of the net, borders dont exist!

(i dont like IRC i've used it, it seems it was good for its time, but seems script kiddes have kinda taken over and now its just used for movie piracy, thats just my view :-)
