What do you use to hang and LED light from a truss? Assume a 500 or 1000 LED light. I would need the ability to angle as well.

They all seem to have fixed male pins, how can I have a pivot so I can angle the light?

What lights are you using? Isn't there a tilt mechanism attached?

Even without you should be able to angle the clamp.

Though I doubt you need it for this application, a Mafer + Magic Finger would do the trick.

LED lights from ephoto.... It's on the way via shipping so I haven't inspected yet but looks to not have any swivel.

Just received my 500 LED Bi-Color from ephotoinc.com and I can confirm that it will indeed tilt on it's own as it has a U-bracket style attachment to a 5/8 male pin.

I can also confirm that when going Bi-Color the lumens output is way less. And the unit is a bit heavier than say Litepanels.

Get an "End Jaw", or "Center Jaw", Cardellini.

These are designed by a Key Grip & part of the standard package on all trucks. You won't regret it.

Matthews Studio Equipment sells a clone, the Matthellini, but I prefer the original.

Whenever hanging lights overhead be sure to tie them off with length of rope, or better yet, Safety Cable.
