steve, we thank you for contributing your time and and talent for the industry... soon enough we'll see the increased use of mini 35 and shallow depth of field in the upcoming 2004 productions!!!
Next time you want to teach. Sign me up, a willing and able new film maker. That's all I want to be!!! " Just bought an Arri softbox 1 kit to go with my DVX and I'm working on my sound set up. Input! Input! I need more input!!! 8)
I suspect you could make a video for a couple thousand bucks -- mostly to find a decent location -- and cut the "actors" in for some of the take for free work (yeah, tough day at the office). I live next to a fairly large state university and have wondered how tough it would be to find "talent."
("Production value?" What's that?)
Then, put up a website, make sure your page has lots of catch words, register with Yahoo or Google, set up a payment system, and let the cash roll in.
Or, you could get it onto a hotel pay-per-view system, or maybe a cable network's.
Just thinking out loud. I doubt I'd ever have the guts to do it. And, I don't want some shirtless, tattooed, ponytailed gorilla showing up at my door and smashing all of my equipment.
I had always thought that it would be great to do a porno from a woman perspective, use a woman director and her interpretation versus the classic male POV and lack of storytelling. So it appeals to women.
Then have it marketed through the women home dildo partys.
Truly an untapped market.
