I just received this monitor today.

By default it outputs a black and white image until I change the settings for Saturation, then it outputs color.

However, everytime the monitor reboots, it defaults back to black and white again.

So annoying, anyone else with this problem?

The manufacturer has confirmed that it is indeed a bug and they are graciously sending a new one to me overnight. Will keep you guys posted!
 
I just got one thru Amazon and have not had this problem at all.
So far, I like everything about it even the 5.6" screen size,
especially the high (1080x800 native) resolution.
Focus Peaking could also be useful.

The 7 inch Lilliput is bigger, brighter, and a real good value at cheaper price.
It also comes with a replaceable internal battery that is charged by external power source.

However, the crummy speakers come on full volume each time you start it up by default.
And the actual resolution is less than half.
It is still great to watch just not as good to focus by.

Instead of speakers the 5.6" Camax has white focus peaking.
