Hey Guys,

I just ordered some gear from BH and all items says "In Stock". I also didn't get a warning saying "The quantity you ordered exceeds what we have in stock".

However some of the items on my invoice says "On Order". What does this mean?

Does BH sell off from their PO's (meaning they will label an item "in stock" even if it is not physically on their shelves but is expected to arrive via truck within a "reasonable" given time frame"?)
 
So BH just replied to me and it appears that my above assumption is correct. So their "in stock" status is defined by not only what is on the shelf but also what is inbound on the truck within a "reasonable" timeframe.

In my case, all of my "on order" items arrived during the morning I placed my order.

It's unclear if this will delay when my order gets picked up by UPS though.
