Razoring clips?

Hey,
I just batch captured a bunch of footage that I shot of car drifting. I dragged and dropped all the footy in to the timeline and razor bladed all the clips into seperate runs. Is their anyway I can put the clips back into the browser and seperate them into seperate bins by car and angle etc.
Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question?
Thanks

That's not the best way to make seperate clips, and I'm not sure how you would then put them into their own bins and folders in Browser. What you want to do (which means doing it over) is, from the master clip without razor cuts, mark the in and out point of a clip you want to separate out, then go up to Modify and choose "Make Subclip". Doing that will place a separate clip in the browser which you can then organize in bins and folders as needed.

What you need to know about subclips, though, is that they always belong to the master clip, even if you can arrange them as separate clips. So, if you double click on a subclip to open it in viewer to add effects or what have you, you're going to open up the original master clip, which you may not want. To open just that clip to work on, right click on it and chose "open in viewer" and then go from there.

Hope that helps and please, someone correct me if I gave any wrong info or called something by the wrong name - I'm at work and not at my editing computer.
