Raylight license expires!

I'm using Vegas Pro 8a and Raylight on an HP laptop.

When I opened up Vegas today a pop up window with the heading Raylight Plug-in giving me a warning (Raylight Software license will expire soon, please upload new version at dvfilm.com/update).

I didn't know that Raylight was only good for one year? My laptop isn't hook to the internet, I use it only for editing but if I need to upgrade I guess I will have to hook it up. Has anyone else had to do this? Is this going to change anything in my system? I hate to find out that all those hours of editing is going to change due to upgrading Raylight meaning I might lose what I have already done.

Any feedback would be helpful before I upgrade.

Is anyone else using Raylight for vegas? I'm sure there are others that are receiving this notice of Raylight license will expire soon. I sent Raylight two emails but they still haven't answered.

The short answer is that something is wrong, but we're not getting your emails... what you need to do is fill out a support request at dvfilm.com

I'm having the same issue. I also can't see any video once imported into Vegas. No clue what to do about that.... I don't know if it is just with the footage I am editing for a client or if this is going to effect all of my .MXF files, I really hope not...

What version of Vegas are you using and also what version of Raylight are you using?

Are the MXF files from a Panasonic camera and DVCPROHD?

You should go to dvfilm.com to the support tab and put in a support request.

Best Regards,
Andy Olson
