Raylight for Mac (FCP) problems going out to DVD recorder?

Alright gentlemen,
Trying to make a DVD copy of several hours of HVX200 footage. I'm using Raylight/FCP and things look great on the timeline. I'm going out firewire to a small DV camera, then taking a S-video and RCA audio from the small DV camera to a set-top DVD recorder.

Things look great on the timeline, and the audio is passing through just fine, but the video hangs (on the dv camera, and of course this is what is recorded on the DVD recorder). So, it's not working.

Has any got any suggestions? Anybody made DVD copies of HVX200 footage? If so, how did you do it successfully?!?

Thanks to all who comment!~
Travis

Is this HVX footage DVCPRO HD? If so, you can't play it out via firewire to a DV camera. You need an HD capture card to play it out, or a DVCPRO HD deck. The card is cheaper.

OR, you can export a reference movie, import that and drop it into a DV timeline, render it, then play that out.
