yo!

we've just wrapped the shootings of "Fliegende Ratten" (Rats with Wings)!
i posted a first report on my website, nothing technical yet, just some impressions and behind the scenes pix.

meanwhile i can i say: we played hard with the DVX (director first considered a 1CCD DV camera to shoot with..) and pushed it to the limits, changing cine, low and high gamma, burning out whites occasionally, using anamorphic with camera's LCD as only reference, going soft focus, handheld (DVrigPro), flares and of course - cinemascope, all the way!    

i'll put on some frame grabs soon as tapes will be safe and cloned...

Keep us posted please Shai! I love what you have done with the DVX thus far. I loved the site as well and especially the qoute "so if you wanna shoot, shoot. don't talk"

worked good to me. i used it extensively.. 30min takes sometimes, incl. walking forwards, backwards.. material looks good.
