Randomized Motion Problem... need help QUICK!!!

I have a project that has to be done by monday and one of the transitions i'm trying to make has to do with making a very random Y-axis motion... i thought i could use the wiggler, but that made the motion both sideways and up and down, when all i wanted was the up and down motion... does anyone know an expression i could use to make the random position on one axis that i need? Thanks for any help and i hope this makes sense!

in the wiggler you can check only the y axis.
it's probably set to all independantly right now.
