So I took 6 2x2 solids and created a cube in 3d space. I checked the rasterize button and pre-comped the cube. So far everything is fine. I then checked the pre-comps 3d button and rasterize button then duplicated the pre-comp 50 times to create a 10x50 cube grid. I made sure 3d and rasterize was checked on all layers then I pre-comped these layers. I then took the new pre-comp and checked 3d and rasterize. I added a camera to orbit around the comp. This is where thing get screwy. When I rotate the camera or the pre-comp, only part of one row of boxes moves. (like 5 or so boxes) The real strange part is if I click the quality box from high to half then back to high, the rest of the boxes all snap into place. I thought maybe it was something just going on in the preview but when I keyframe a rotation and ram preview or render out a movie I get the same thing. A few of the boxes moving then a snap at the end or where ever I clicked the quality button. I thought maybe it was a layer order problem with the pre-comp but I have gotten different results without any layer re-orders. I also tried playing around with the different pre-comps 3d and raserization settings (on or off) and the only way I get the 3d cubes is with everything done the way I listed above. If anyone has any ideas that would be great. Normally I would do this in a 3d program but it is for an after effects class. So that is not an option. To get an idea of the cubes and what I am doing with them you can see the concept here:

It is the first part of the video with the wave motion. I want to be able to fly the camera around the cubes as I will have video playing on each side of all the cubes.
Thanks again for any help.
