ram problem

sorry if this is the wrong forum its about my mac pro which runs FCP but isnt directly about FCP. I just bought 4 2gb memory modules from a legit third party dealer and its 667mhz I have the new early 08 mac pro and the ram that I just installed isnt 800mhz. Is this worth complaining about since I already have 10gb. Will I notice the difference?
 
Who made the mistake - you or them? Did you ask for 800mHz RAM and got 667 instead? If not - sounds like the mistake is yours.
I have read that apple strongly discourages use 667 in the 800.
 
no I was editing my first post and no I didnt make the mistake I assume any apple reseller would know that if its the new mac pro ram its 800mhz
