Hey everyone. I just recently purcahsed the Quad G5, and am looking to buy more ram. I want to initially get 4 gigs, and don't see myself going over 8 gigs overall, so I can get them in 1 gig sticks. I am just wondering if anyone had RAM recommendations or good places to buy from. This is my first Mac ever and I'm still getting used to Final Cut (going through Vegas withdrawal). Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I would go Crucial, as well. Yes, Apple charges a premium re-selling Micron RAM, but I've heard too many horror stories about small discrepancies in RAM parameters, completely throwing Quads haywire (check the Apple forums). So, I would stick with Crucial. Other brands have been reported to work well, also, but why take the chance?
