RAM for Mac Pro...

[blando3]

I'm close to buying a Mac Pro but have been told to buy the minimum amount of RAM from Apple and buy more from other places that sell Apple Qualified RAM...Has anyone bought RAM from these guys?

Are there any drawbacks? Any issues I might encounter?
Thanks,
Andrew

That's Other World Computing. A reliable source. Crucial is also a trusted source of RAM for Macs. I've purchased RAM from both companies and haven't had any issues.

And is it as simple as opening up the computer and popping in the chips? I've done this on a PC but never on a MAC.
Thanks again.

Figure out what kind of ram you need first, then get it on www.newegg.com
