Raining Ash in Los Angeles

In LA it's raining ash, the smoke is terrible, do not breath the smoke, get inside and close all your windows, no matter how hot it is, that smoke can cause serious damage.

I live in the Sanfernando valley, and it's terrible here, smoke is everywhere, and the fire is still not out!

Anyone else around?

I try not to breathe at all when I'm in LA ;) - Nasty air quality I tell ya!
LOL. The (non fire-induced) normal smog also makes it hard to shoot decent footage of the Foothills and various long shots. Disgusting air, disgusting place.

It was bad today on my way back from Warner Bros. But as soon as I got to my place, which is 10 minutes away I couldn't even smell it...that much. I can look out my window and see the fires on the hill right now. I wish I didn't have my 20D in the shop right now or I would try and get some time-lapse of the fires.

Yeah, I wanted to take some pictures with my digital camera, but it's got no 'card' =(

The sun looked beautiful though, it just looked like Apocolypse for a second, then it looked like it was on Fire, lol.

But, very nasty, I had to close every little window in my house, and when I went outside, it was pretty weird to have the smoke in the sky, all dark.

Feh. You should have tried living in eastern Europe before the 90's.

The air ate the chrome off my car.

A little smoke and ash in the air? No prob. :)

Lol, actually I was raised in Germany, Frankfurt =)

Love the weather down there, hardly warm, always cold.
