Just wondering if there are any Radiohead fans on the board. I listened to them up to Kid A then dismissed them due to the electronic sounds on that album. As of late it has become my favorite RH album along with Amnesiac which was recorded at the same time. Anyway, my favorite tracks are:
How to Disappear Completely (beautiful song)
Pyramid Song
Kid A
Idioteque
Pull Pulk revolving doors
Fake Plastic Trees
just to name a few :)

OK Computer is my favorite - just listened to this incredible record today. Since buying it, I've played it to the point that Subterranean Homesick Alien skips a bit.

No Surprises is my new favorite on OKC - after five years I've really embraced that one for it's depth. Airbag, Paranoid Android, Karma Police and Let Down.

Fake Plastic Trees is another incredible track, though in my humble opine, Airbag is Radiohead's Soft Parade. Street Spirit's orchestration is fantastic.

Uh... that covers two albums as a start.

Would you recommend Pablo Honey? I love "Creep", but thats the only track I know. I heard its more of a mainstream album( read 'radio friendly' ) compared to OK Computer.

Exit Music (For A film), True Love Waits (Live Version, You and whose army.

I can't wait to use Exit Music in a film... it could have a powerful effect if done right.

I'll change the station when C**** comes on. I think it's like Oingo Boingo's Dead Man's Party. Does Thom even perform this live anymore? Hopefully not - it's rubbish after so much play.

I like Amnesiac very much - agreed on the beauty of Spinning Plates and You and Whose Army.

Re: Radiohead fans? favorite tracks/albums?

RADIOHEAD is one of the best, most innovative, bands in music today. 'Kid A' is perfection, from beginning to end. The first time I heard it I hated it! But after a few more listens, I was hooked! A modern-day masterpiece.

BEST SONGS (In Order of Appearance):
- Fake Plastic Trees
- No Surprises
- Everything In Its Right Place
- National Anthem

Of course there are MANY more from OK Computer and Kid A, but you get the idea. I would love to sit in on a recording session with them. Just to witness the creative process.

Re: Radiohead fans? favorite tracks/albums?

Thanks folks. I have not listened to them inwhile. So last night you folks inspired me to lounge with the bood I was reading , and go through some Radiohead. I spent more time listening, then reading. I really love all the places there music takes you.
Hey Cody, a few years ago I heard a Jazz pianist -Brad Mehldau, play exit music. It was great to hear a world class jazz artist play a Radiohead song, just goes to show you there range and talent.

Re: Radiohead fans? favorite tracks/albums?

Best songs? EVERYTHING. I love this band.

The Bends: Just, Fake Plastic Trees, a ton of other songs but too many to list....
OK Computer: Karma Police, Exit Music for a Film, almost everything else...
Kid A: Optimistic, Idioteque, the whole album...
Amnesiac: Life in a Glass House, You and Whose Army, Knives Out....
Hail to the Thief: First and last tracks, most of the rest.....

And a lot off B sides are surprisingly good, too. Favorite album? Probably OK computer, but there was a while where I listened to Kid A and Amnesiac almost exclusively. Now I'm taking a break from them since I just listened to many of their songs too much.
