Rachel Getting Married

Every second is shakey hand held
Audio is pretty much bad.
Lighting marginal,---in fact one shot is in a dark room where one can barely make out the furniture.
In short the look was raw.
When I remarked on the production quality, or lack thereof, my wife said it was "realistic".
The story wasn't bad.
Centred around a disfunctional family.
It connected on an emotional level and Ann Hathaway's performance was nominated for an Oscar.
Still, if I handed a project (promotional/instructional) with that many flaws to a client there would be some serious eye-rolling, at the very least.
Guess that's the difference between art and the stuff I crank out to make a living.
