This is a sad, sad day for the world of cinema.
He was undisputedly one of the greatest ever. Period.

Yes he was.
"Cat on a hot Tin Roof " was the 1st movie of his I ever saw. One of my favorites to this day. He will be missed.

Cinema lost another star today and I lost a childhood hero.
Was truly saddened to hear this news. I guess with his age and news of ill health it was expected.
An amazing actor that more than became much more than a movie icon.
A great man who made use of that icon status to benefit others.
Thoughts, prayers and best wishes to his friends and family.
