Røde Video Wireless Compliment

I've used G3s for years and have recently started using AVX. I wanted something a little more hands off and it works for that. Plus, the small form factor of the receiver is great. In most cases, I've had no issues other than the 19ms latency. You get used to that, though I wish Sennheiser would nix the encryption. I'd gladly give that up to reduce the latency. Lately, I've been running into situations where the AVX and its 1.9ghz signal hopping doesn't work at all. Sometimes sound boards are bad as are mic podiums alongside a dozen other mics. The latter despite the fact that my AVX handheld is the only digital system there. Everything else is radio but I get a pretty terrible buzz that comes and goes. It happened again recently at a city council meeting that only had a couple of mics. I forgot my hand mic so used the standard belt pack transmitter with a DPA 4060 wrapped around it. I got the same buzz. I've decided to go back to my G3 for these situations. I've been using an RF Explorer to scan frequencies and rarely have interference issues. I never rely on the G3 scanning feature. I wonder how the Rode would fare in these conditions?
