QUO affordable Hackintosh!

Just heard about this today:

I used to be a huge Apple fanatic back in the 90s, before they adopted Intel chips and made themselves more-or-less more expensive PC hardware. I do miss the OS sometimes and wish they were more competitive in price so I could justify the purchase.

Until that happens, I might have to consider one of these- seems like a great deal, get on that kickstarter if you are interested in it!

That motherboard alone seems like a great deal. But the cases are really nice looking too. My poor wallet, I don't need this now!

Holy ****, this motherboard is killer.... It's not only a much needed dose of Thunderbolt to the PC platform, but a good booster shot of Firewire legacy support for older devices. I honestly feel a bit bad for people who want to stay with Apple, but have a lot of FW gear, but this could be a great solution.

I'm not even too interested in the OSX support, but the idea of keeping all of these fundamental I/O ports is amazing.
