Quicktime - Widescreen - How?

I wanted to export a quicktime file that is in widescreen format. How do I do that? Thanks for your help.

Export to what? Is it really widescreen or does it have a filter on it?

DVD? Web? It should export fine.

Try using Compressor.

QT is the only true "amorphic" video format, because it can produce and display video at any aspect ratio. If you are a total freak, try making a 500x10 video or some such thing.

QT is designed to be the transparent work tool, which is why it is the most common work space for professionals even on PCs. The issue is, what will you do with it once it goes to QT? There is little need for QT 500x10 videos.
