Quicktime watermark

Hello.
In some movie trailers i have seen sometimes a small watermark in the lower right corner that seems is not part of the video, but it is actually displayed by the quicktime player.
So i was wondering how can i do this same think, insert a watermark logo in a corner but as a separate picture file, so i get better quality.

Thanks!

I did something like that in Compressor. I added a text filter to place the words "TEMP PRINT" with the opacity dialed down, across the center of the picture. Since it was an incomplete version of the movie, I didn't want someone accidently seeing it and thinking it was finished.

It seems like you could do the same thing in your NLE but placing your watermark on a new track. You would have the control to place it where you wanted with whatever opacity you liked.

Yes but this is not the same. Anyone knows how to do it? I want the watermark be apart from the movie. I know this can be done.

Exactly, but how can i do that? I discovered how to sick a picture, but QT adds it in the upper lft corner. I want it down right. ALso i want to be at 50% and only a text. Like my company logo.

Create a graphic the same size at the movie. Create white text on black bg.
Use grayscale.
Select the whole thing and copy. Open the movie clip in QT Player Pro.
command-J ,select video track and select visual. Select Mask area. Paste.
Try different settings.
