Quicktime VR

I recently just started a virtual tour project at the college where I work. After investigating quite a few different options I decided to use Quicktime VR images for the 360 pano shots. The campus map will be done in Flash and have clickable nodes that will then take you down to each location for a 360 panoramic view. Here is a sample of one of the panos that I just finished.

Baseball Stadium

To create these you must use a wide angle or fisheye lens, a panoramic tripod head, software capable of stitching fisheye images into a reticular panorama, and something that will convert that into a cubic Quicktime VR movie. I am having a slight problem though in getting top and bottom of the reticular panorama to close enough for me to add in the nadir and zenith images. I am shooting these on the school's 30D with a Canon 15mm fisheye so it can't be a technical problem. :cheesy: I'm using PTGui to stitch and CubicConverter to assemble the cubic quicktime mov.

thanks in advance

I do QTVR panos with totally different equipment and software, but your BB field picture looks great! I'd have blended the sky better in PS maybe prior to stitching. Also, I'm a freak, I only shoot outdoor , clear blue shots on the longest day of the year at High Noon +/- 30 minutes ;)
