Quicktime setting suggestions

I see a lot of peoples posted clips looking really good on the internet. Would you be willing to recommend your favorite settings for getting a good-looking and fast-starting Quicktime movie for the web out of Final Cut Pro 4.5?

I'm shooting 4:3, 24P (and 60i on some stuff).

I've got some clips on my own site that seems to work okay but I never really know what the @!@$ the optimal compression scheme is?

Thanks, BB

Squeeze is like Rocky 2 and Compresor is like Rocky 5, hope that puts it into perspective for you. I do some post pro for a company that puts videos up on the web and Squeeze has more output options than anything ive seen. GET IT.

Is sorenson better or equal to Compressor for apple?

They're slightly different animals. I would only use Compressor to make m2v files where Squeeze is much better for making smaller files for the web.

I agree with bgundu. Use Compressor for what it was intended for (as it was packaged with FCP and DVD SP) for creating m2v files. There are pre-sets for MP4 files but that's just a given as Compressor most-likey uses Quicktime's engine to perform that but probably opens new settings to tweak. I don't know, I don't use Compressor to make MP4 files. THAT's where Squeeze comes in. Squeeze is quick and seems to put out smaller files.

Sorry, I just realized that sounded kind of insulting, which wasn't my intention. I'm just speaking from what I've seen/done.
