Hello,
I am trying to use apple's MakeRefMovie to make a quicktime reference file that will point to a web version of my video, and an iphone version.
It works the way it should when I point the browser directly to the .mov file, but when I encode the file into an html document and point my browser at that html file, it does not work at all, on either platform, and all that's displayed in the browser is the quicktime logo, and on the iphone it gives me the message "this movie can not be played."
The specs of the two quicktime files i'm trying to point the reference at are;
desktop version: quicktime 800x450 .mov file, 1500kbit/s
iphone version: quicktime 640x360 .mov file, 800kbit/s
Any ideas why the reference movie does not play when it's embedded in an html file?
Thanks!
