Quicktime Pro

I am not sure if I have the pro version or not. I could have sworn I put it on my computer but its not showing as PRO. I have version 7.0.1 as of now. When I do open QT then select file, I can see a list of PRO options that are unclickable. The last thing I put on my computer was iLife05 back in May.

If you went from QT6 to QT7, then you DO NOT have QT Pro. You'll need to buy the serial code to upgrade to QT Pro, I think it is $29.99. (That is unless you have FCP 5- which comes with a serial number.)

If you cannot select the pro options, which it sounds like you can't, then yes, you are correct you do not have QT Pro.

To make it QT Pro, get a serial number- either buy it from apple.com, or from an app. then open QuickTime - under the QuickTime Menu go to Registration and enter your serial number. You'll be us and running in no time.

Here's a way to check. Try to find a Qtime clip wait for it to download , then try to save it to desktop if you can't then you don't have qtp.
