ive finished my hero fest movie but im having serious issues with exporting.!!!! i export the final version into an avi file the in quicktime pro i export it as H264. when i bring the avi file into quicktime instead of being 5:30 seconds it says 11:00!?? what is that? when i export it to h264 it exports the extra six minutes of black footage?

any advice! im dying here
THanks

im trying something now. . i'm using the trim file to marker option in quick time pro.

i hope it will work

thanks

When you export from premiere, have you tried file-->export-->movie, click on settings, drop down filetype and choose quicktime, click on video, drop down compressor, choose h.264, click ok, click save? I tried that and it exported an h.264 qt file.

um JimtheJib, unless you know something that I don't, when premiere pro exports H.264 it looks really washed out and it's virtually unusable.

I never tried directly from Premiere. I have been exporting an avi and bringing it into sorenson squeeze and compressing to a QT file. Im going to test the H264 thing tonight as soon as my avi finishes rendering.
