Quicktime missing software on a PC

I keep having problems playing .mov clips in quicktime. It says it's missing software that cannot be found on the quicktime site. There's sound, but no video. I updated it and even installed the extra stuff as well, but it still doesn't work. I've even tried dropping the .mov files into a Vegas timeline, but no dice. I've searched DVXuser to no avail, so I'm asking for help. I imagine it's a missing codec. Thanks in advance- -Chris

Probably a form of DiVX or other codec that isn't supported by QuickTime. Where did you get the clips from?

I got the clips here, in the screengrabs section. Some work, some don't. I only view.mov files when I'm here checking out footage, so its not really a huge concern of mine. I just thought there might be a quick fix somewhere. I wasn't sure if this might be a common thing with QT on a PC.
