Quicktime graphic errors

Hey All,

I've been downloading some videos off of YouTube with a capture program. It writes mp4 files and they look fine in quicktime. I'm also able to convert the mp4's to mov's and they look and play fine too - in quicktime player. However, when I import these into Vegas I get all kinds of graphic garbage and artifacts. Any idea why?

Yes, because you're using "a capture program". Go to keepvid.com, enter the URL of the YouTube video, and you have an option to download the original source file.

Hmm...I gave it a try, but I got the same results. Everything looks fine in the QuickTime player, but as soon as I bring the file into Vegas I start seeing all kinds of graphic errors. Any other ideas?
