Quicktime Export Problem...Incomplete exports...Frustrating

I'm having problems exporting footage from QT.
It's happened to me the last two times I needed to export. Example...I choose to batch export a bunch of clips in my timeline to apple pro res. After the export the new clips were all turned into 10 second clips regardless of what the original clip duration was.

It happened again today exporting a qt into a WMV. It turned a 21 sec clip into a 10 sec clip. This is very frustrating. Any answers???

I'd suggest export to QuickTime first- say as ProRes and then doing the WMV conversion using the QuickTime player. FCP is not optimized for creation of WMV.

Actually I did. The instance where I was batch exporting to Pro Res was in FCP .
The other instance from a .mov to a .wmv was in in Quiktime...not FCP. This was from two different computers as well.

I guess I'll add that I've been using QT and FCP for the last 8 yrs so I am pretty familiar with both...of course I go brain dead every once and a while.

*** Experimenting with QT and exporting a mv4 works??
Exporting again to WMV cuts the clip down again to 10 secs...WEIRD.
***exporting the mv4 to wmv cuts it also...ahhh
