Quick way to reduce background 'buzz'?

I have some recorded audio that has a very electrical sounding 'buzz' behind it. I'm working with FCP HD, and I wondered if there was some quick fix to save my audio.

If it's really a 60Hz hum from the electric lines, a notch at that freq will cut it out. If FCP doesn't have a real notch filter, it should have an Equalizer in there somewhere and you can make your own notch.

Elemental Audio has an EQ plugin that has a harmonic filter that is very good at removing constant frequency hums and buzzes.
