Quick way to keyframe image position

Hi,
Part of a project I'm working on consists of a sequence of images (exported video) which should one by one jump from position #1 (at the bottom of the screen) to position #2 (in the middle) and then to the top of the screen to position #3. It means when the first image has reached the top, the second is in the middle, the third is at the bottom and the fourth is yet waiting for the first three images to move up so it would appear at the bottom.
The long way is to position all my images at the bottom and keyframe them one by one.
How can I use an expression to tell image no. X should be at position #1, #2 & #3 at intervals?

You could write an expression or just set it up with parenting and hold keyframes. You only have to keyframe the first image and all will follow. Parent the second to the first, third to the second, etc. Just position them in a line beneath the comp. This is not too time consuming unless you have a really large amount of images. How many are you using? Good luck!
