Quick Vegas 6.0 Editing Question

Okay, so I took a clip and split the unusable parts out (the beginning and end), and deleted the unusable parts. Now how do I save this new, cleaner shot as a file? I understand how one saves a project in Vegas, but how does one save edited individual clips?

You can also save the project and save trimmed copies of the media with it. This is faster, but it won't render any effects.

You can also use the trimmer but it is more a pain vs doing it on the timeline which is a lot easier.

It's mainly intended for people like myself who started using other NLE like Avid or premiere who uses the in and out points to create clips from the master. Luckily Vegas makes this a lot easier by using the split key on the timeline.

I decided to just split them and save the timeline. 6.0 is so vast it's crazy. Much thanks, everyone!

The trimmer is useful whem you need to pull a small portion of footage out of a long captured clip. Even if you use scene detect to capture smaller clips, there are times you will have a long clip. Like a non stop shot of an interview, a concert or play.
