quick release system help please?

Hi there,

I'm hoping someone could give me some advice on getting a quick release system for 3-4 different support systems.

I have a HVX200, a tripod, a Glidecam smoothshooter, a Letus 35mm adapter on rods, and starting to build a shoulder support mount for my camera, that I need to interchange from regularly.

It's a pain to remove the tripod camera plate from the camera, for this setup, and then put it back for that setup, etc... So I'm looking for a easy way to roam the camera around on these support systems quickly.

I was wondering if I can't add a quick release system to the tripod, glidecam and adapter support rods, (and soon the shoulder mount) so that I can easily mount the camera from support system to support systems?

anyone please have any suggestions on whatI need to buy?

I found this on B&H, could any of these work, or is there a better product?

I've got a few 357s, they work well, and are pretty solid. The only issue you will have is they are sliding plates, so when transferring to the Glidecam you will have to slide it into the exact same position or you'll need to rebalance. Only takes some close eyeballing, or you could put a hard stop on the Glidecam base maybe.

Running into the same problem. I've found that the quick release plates arn't interchangeable so I'm not sure what to do about a "FIT ALL" system.
