Quick Release plates - for Glidecam ?

Hi there,

I just recently brought a GC2000pro - I also have a vnten pro 5 tripod which has the same quick release as the bogan 501 - infact the vinten pro 5 is the exact same design as the bogan/manfrotto 501 (vinten are made by bogan )

My 'Q' is - what quick release plate do I get that matches the 501 ?
I know bogan make a ton of these but which one matches the tripod & what model no' is it ?

I want to be able to switch from my tripod to the glidecam without too much hassel.

I believe its the 577 w/ 3433 plate. You can check to see if this would be the right one. You can also call B & H, they would know. I hope this helps.

The only thing Im confused about here is - will I get the base section here also - or is this just the quick release plate only ?
I have the quick release already on my tripod so - Im hoping I get the important bit ( the base mould section ) if i get this 577 assembly ?

577 is the top and bottom plate. Just like the one in the picture.

you could check out the videosmith quick release setup. its what i use: one for the jib, one for the shoulder mount, one for the sticks.
