I recently purchased a Kessler slider and Hercules Head. When using the slider, I mount it to the Hercules head, and mount my Manfrotto head to the slider. When not using the slider, I just mount the Manfrotto head to the Hercules head. The problem is, the Manfrotto head easily gets stuck, and is difficult (sometimes impossible) to twist off from the Hercules head.
If I purchased a good quick release plate, would it be safe/steady to attach a plate to the Manfrotto head, and then buy another plate for the slider? So I could easily switch between the Manfrotto and the slider?
Thanks!!
