Quick Release for DV10?

Yes it is - I use this set up with my Miller. Attach the Manfroto bottom plate to your Miller QR plate and then use the 501 QR plates on the camera or slider etc.

I use the slightly larger Manfrotto 357 quick release adapters and plates instead, and I like those better because they're sturdier, but it's the same idea.

The Manfrotto comes with a base and a QR plate. You mount the Manfrotto plate on your camera. You mount the base to the Miller quick-release plate and snap this into your tripod, where it will rarely ever be removed.

If you want to be able to move the camera back and forth quickly between your tripod and your shoulder rig, you'll need a second Manfrotto adapter to mount on your rig. The plate stays on the camera at all times.

Similarly, if you have multiple cameras that you want to use with all your support gear, you can buy just the Manfrotto QR plate and put this on your second camera.

Hope this is clear. I have two cameras, two tripods and a shoulder rig that all have the Manfrotto QR hardware installed. I can use any combination of camera and support, or even mount the whole shoulder rig on one of the tripods.

oh ok got it
the 357 would then be more suitable for a larger load then?

I started buying the 357's because the first serious tripod head I owned used this style of plate natively (no extra adapter required), then added more pieces as I acquired further gear. It works for me, but I don't think there's much practical difference between them, other than the 357 allows a little more fore-and-aft sliding range between the two pieces.
