Hey guys,

I am trying to dredge up my battery knowledge and it is failing me so I thought someone could help me in a matter of seconds =)

I just bought 2 Li-ion batteries for my HVX and have charged them fully. Do I have to use them till they are empty before charging them again to prevent low charge memory or is that a thing of the past? I could have sworn it said to do that on the package but those are gone now too. =/

Thanks!

At my school we just throw un-depleted batteries on the charger to fully recharge them and haven't had a problem with them.... they last a while on the DVX100, DVX100B, and DVC80...... the Lipsky cams (we call them that cause a kid named Lipsky dropped them. They're DVC7s.) because they were dropped..... only last for five minutes (must be something internal that come loose from the drop.). But from what I know it won't cause any problems with the batteries if you recharge them without them being fully depleted.

Li-on doesn't have memory, so it actually fine to charge them. It better to do that than uncharging them.
