Quick question....

I was rendering the final edit of my video and was wondering on which file type I should choose to save it as? I want to burn it to dvd and I chose .avi. Once rendered, it came out to 600 mb but once I used my burning program, it was downscaled to 150 mb. Was it compressed? If so, why? It looked pretty crappy on my television after it was burned.

If you are planning to burn to DVD you should render the video and audio as two separate piece using MPEG-2 and AC3 as the formats with the DVD Architect templates.
