Quick question about light discs

so I ordered a light disc, a white transluscent 50" one...when it came, I tested it in the sunset and it didnt seem to reflect much light; should I have gotten a silver one?
I need to know because I need to send it back tomarrow if its the wrong kind, because I leave for colorado tomarrow night and once I get back it will be too late to return it.
 
Normally you want a 5-in-one, which has silver, white, translucent, gold, and silver/gold.

White reflectors outdoors are pretty weak; silver is much stronger outdoors. White bounce indoors works a lot better than it does outdoors.
